The term Kamikaze was adopted by our JukuCho to represent the spirit of this gym. To put everything you have into it. To have enough fuel to get you there, but not enough to return. Like the kamikaze pilots of old, committed only to one purpose. We are the oldest kickboxing clubs on Okinawa.

All of us volunteer our time, resources, and energy to this dojo. We are a family here. We work together, train together, fight together, and hang out together. We make each other stronger. - Kamikaze Juku

Okinawa Japan, KickBoxing and MMA Update 8/31

Not a lot to update for this week. We had some good sparring sessions this week. Paco is really coming along quickly in his training. For one of our newer members he really has some dedication. Keep and eye out for him in November. Also one of our guys is considering entering into a BJJ match on the horizon. Yo our MMA instructor is taking the time to work with him so we're expecting good things.

The next event coming up is Tenchaichi Stadium, Sept 8th. We have Inamine fighting in this event. A seasoned fighter and former professional boxer he officially joined Kamikaze Juku in August. Since he started working with us last June he game has really gotten better. We're proud to have him aboard.
